The Delicate & Dramatic Peach Blush Goes Out To Lunch

Did I mention my cast glows in the dark?

Painted those toes just 15 seconds before we took photos.

I am SO not a belt person but I adore this skinny thing.

Never thought I would fancy accordion pleats.

A Southern belle I am not, for sure, but dramatic?  Absolutely.  Delicate?  Outwardly, yes.

On Saturday, we had the electricians come in to rework the entire wiring of the house which meant (a) no air conditioning during one of the hottest Winter days ever [darn you, erratic Houston weather] AND (b) no way to cook brekker, lunch nor dinner (yay yay yay).  My wonderful man asked what I wanted to eat for lunch and, truth be told, I had no idea so my reply was that I’d choose my ensemble first and we’d proceed from there.

I chose the prettiest top in my entire closet.  It’s a lovely shade of Peach, kinda like sorbet, with delicate, ever so fluttery sleeves.  I wore it with a new thrifted hi-low skirt, it’s silk chiffon and is also Peach-esque but creamier and with an underlying hint of Blush.  Does that make sense?

Pardon the cast.  I broke my wrist.  Wait, did I forget to blog about that?

The belt is of an amazing snakeskin, so too the multi-wrap cuff bracelet which is from Israel.  My heels?  One of my favourite purchases from my home town Kuching 🙂

Love, SG

p/s I’m not quite that delicate.  I just look it.

pp/s Lunch was the most scrumpdelicious Grilled Sea Bass with Potatoes Lyonnaise, downed with a Shirley Temple cos that’s how I roll.
